FAQ for Team Leaders

Q: Is the cost of transit from Copenhagen airport included?

The LOC provides from transit to and from Copenhagen airport only.

On Arrival Day, your Guide will meet you at Arrivals at Copenhagen Airport and take you to your hotel. The Guide with have your ticket on their phone. On Departure day, we will see you to Lund C train station, and provide you with a valid travel ticket. More details on this soon.

Q: We are arriving early or staying late, what do we do about accommodation and food?

In the fee, we only provide meals and accomodation for Teams from dinner (evening meal) on the 29th of June to breakfast on the 6th of July. If you arrive early or late you must pay for this on top of the fee.

Howecer, we have made deals with two hotels, the same ones that will be used for the IYPT 2025. We have reserved some rooms for those teams arriving early / staying late, but we will not handle the payment. Prices below are including local taxes.

Elite Hotel Ideon (https://maps.app.goo.gl/j8tZiW7wvDMp4DQs6) (for EC/visitors/senior team leaders) is 920 SEK per night per room for a Superior Double (twin room or single use). If you want to book there, email emelie.jonsson@elite.se .

For the meals, we recommend that you eat lunch at dinner at the same caterer that we will use. We can email more details about that later, but a lunch costs 120 SEK and a dinner 150 SEK. You pay on the day with a credit/debit card

Q: What adapters should I bring for the projector/screen?

All Fight rooms will have either two projectors, one projector and one screen or two large screens. All of these will have an HDMI cable. We will provide one HDMI to USB-C connector per room. If you require an HDMI adapter to connect your computer, please bring this

Q: What is the type of plug in Sweden?

In Sweden, power plugs and sockets (outlets) of type F are used. The standard voltage is 230 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.
