About the Event

The IYPT stands for the International Young Physicists’ Tournament and is an annual competition in physics for pre-university students.

In 2025, the IYPT will be hosted in Lund, Sweden in the region of Skåne between the 30th of June and 6th of July 2025.

The IYPT fosters skills such as problem-solving, teamwork and communication amongst participants. For over 30 years, the IYPT has helped to educate numerous leaders, scientists and engineers.

At its heart are the 17 IYPT problems which students solve during the year and then they present them live during physics ‘fights’.

For more information about how to compete and join the IYPT, visit www.iypt.org.
